At least one person is dead as Typhoon Gaemi gets ready to make landfall in Taiwan, in what could be the biggest storm to hit the country in nearly a decade. People across the country are preparing or evacuating their homes and businesses ahead of the quake, while more than 200 international and all domestic flights have been canceled. And, TaiwanPlus reports live from one of the shelters where thousands of homeless residents are taking refuge from the typhoon.
