The Gokongwei-owned Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) will build a P25-billion architectural icon in Mandaluyong City that could match the grandeur of Taipei 101, the Sydney Opera House, and the Marina Bay Sands.

The Jewel will rise on the 2.5-hectare property at the corner of EDSA and Pioneer Street where the Robinsons Forum Mall once stood. It is a commercial property with four office towers and a mall.

The complex, set to rise on the grounds of the former Forum Robinsons Mall on the corner of Pioneer Street and EDSA, will have four office towers, with a mall linking them together at the center. Each tower is named after a cut of diamond – Asscher, Trilliant, Marquise, and Peruzzi – symbolic of architectural brilliance.

The Observatory a 4.5 hectares project will rise within the Mandaluyong-Pioneer Central Business District Zone and at the middle of three major Central Business Districts.

The first tower of the company’s The Observatory in Mandaluyong could take five or six years to finish construction.

Usually it takes five to six years since this is a high-rise building. But with the simultaneous construction. The overall project may be completed in maybe around 15 years. It will have eight towers plus one office tower. 9 towers to be built in 10 to 15 years.All of the towers have retail spaces at the bottom. For the office towers it will be leased.
