Tropical Storm Carina, also known internationally as Gaemi, has maintained its strength and slightly accelerated northwestward as of 11 PM, Saturday, July 20, reports the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Carina was located 545 km east of Casiguran, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h and gusts reaching 80 km/h. The storm is moving northwest at 20 km/h.
